Toxic Waste Sour Apple Fizzy Soda Sugar Free

So, this I've even forgot to get published and sorted out, like seriously, things get delayed on that part. £1.19 is a nice pricer for this

Enjoy this review on a train home.

The Packaging:

Its got that simple feel of a green bottle, the logo for toxic waste is there, the flavour kis clearly marked and even the sour meter was showing as a tang.  The colour scheme matches the product here for sure but in the shelf of energy and soft drinks it does not stand out.

The Testing:

So this was time to get it test out, the thirst was not killing me but finding the empty train is better between bere alston and calstock or even calstock and guni, but it was that twist of it. Eventually i got it open up.

The opening of it

It got opened in the end

Then it was the taste which that in itself was not as sour as the brand name but it was also near the tangy taste the bottle was talking about. I scrunched a few times but it was a nice apple flavour, like the apple candy powders too.

The sip

A mind thought on it

Then it was gone, the 500ml of it in my body.

Conclusion:

It has a nice brand, and a nice flavour, and it is on the trend of drinks based of sweets.

omracer's Rating: 7/10

The Good Points:

  • Reasonable value
  • Nice branding based off the sweets
  • Not too sour
  • Nice apple taste

The Bad Points:

  • Not easily available even if mentioned as sold in places like Home Bargains and B&M
  • For some not sour enough

and there you have it, seems it might be my last review of the year, next year might be some more tech ones but we will seee.

Xiaomi Mi 50W 20000mah Power Bank

So this was reviewed back in April 2023. Since it was time to get things sorted out and things are a bit tough back then. But this review was a nice way to be able to plan out the future with this.  So this was a bit of a way to work with options and since of the potential chances to video edit in the future. Like a lot better. But for around £50, it has some benefits for sure.,  Xiaomi No longer has it on the website But Amazon still does.  There is no video for this review.

The Packaging.

The look at the box

So this has its Xiaomi Charm of the Apple pure white box and the clear picture of the box and also the description of that item itself, and the small print and codes on the back, but it feels like it's a posh feel for sure.

The front of the box

The Left side of the box

The right side of the box

The bottom of the box

The top of the box

The back of the box with all the text

As it shows most of the back with the text, some will find it a bit of a headache but for what most will need it for, it will be not looked at much either way. So it then leads to being able to unbox the power bank and see what's inside.

A look inside the box

So this was a bit more simple but still nicely laid out and divided to make sure the bank fits nicely and tight.  There was a small jiffy bag inside and then it was the bank itself taking up most of the box, showing its true size.

A peek inside the box

A look at the bottom of the power bank with the bag next to it

The top of the power bank and the bag next to it

So That and the USB cable were quite short but good ones, so it will give it some charge. Especially as this does not take as quick as other power banks to charge up, from its capacity and the WH usage.

The USB cable it came with

So then it was time to get it set up and ready to test out.

Well, that's after we look at the power bank which does have a very clear look at the square shape for sure, as well as the engravings on the front and the bottom of the bank itself. which explains the compatible voltages, it does not carry 65W of power which I will find out later on. but it does take over 6 hours to charge from a single 1A USB Charger of 5v, but since of the 20V option for output, it can take in a bit less of just 12V input.

The right side of the power bank

The left side of the power bank with the power button

The top of the Powerbank with the sticker removed and the ports showing

The bottom of the power bank with the sticker on

Look at the bottom with the labels like the voltages

The Testing:

Charging up:

So this can take up to 8 hours to charge on a 2A USB charger, so this will need a powerful charger like the Ugreen GAN X 65W for example, then it makes sense for it to charge quickly. But then it can show the progress of the charger with the LED indicator.

The Charger connected to a slow cable

So for that to be fully charged it was time to then get it to see if it charged devices up. So that means the phone would charge fine (the issue with the Note 7 is having issues with a weaker battery after its 3 years), So that will charge quickly with a quick charge on both ports. But the real test is the laptops

Laptop #1: Maibenben

This does not charge since its not enough juice for the 20V and 2A when the maibenben needs 3.25A aka 65W so this will not give any power at all. I can tell since the USB Type C to 5.5 x 2.5 mm adapter does not blue led up.

Laptop #2: Cleveo N141Zu or PC Specialist Laftive

Now this is the main reason for getting the power bank and Yes it actually chargers up, so this can work on the power bank, and I can say, yes this works fine, and charges from 5% to 70% and use half of the battery on the bank itself.

The battery charging via the power bank

The Conclusion:

This can do a lot of useful tricks and for a #omracersholiday (Not had in 4 years), it will be a tool to be able to get things uploaded much easier than it used to be. But it's been useful for when i need to eat while watching videos and not have a long cable across a kitchen and also when or if I have to edit on a coach if that comes to pass. The normal USB ports mean I can charge a phone possible at the same time.

omracer's Rating: 7/10

The Good Points:

  • Can charge a laptop via USB C (with the PD adapters) if 45W aka 20V with 2A
  • Chargers Phones and normal USB devices
  • Power indicator
  • Reasonable value for money

The Bad Points:

  • Can charge on older USB or slower Chargers
  • Not close to 65W for charging older and more powerful laptops
  • Quite heavy so be careful if needing it for defense if attacked
  • Might be hard to source if Amazon sells out

And there we are, more reviews might be after summer on this case, it seems the past is catching up and repeating itself on my end on top of workaholic on top of the consequences of moving via 1-hour leg commute home.

See you soon

Crimpit

So this one was a purchase from late last year and would be a nice way to make sandwich snacks and this was going to make things easier for that like a quick snack.  So this appeared on my Instagram stories adverts and when some money came in, I managed to order it and this was during the height of the postal strikes. But £16 or so was going to be a way to get 2 of them actually. But Amazon have it on a different link if you want to go for it.  But enjoy the video eventually.

The Packaging:

So it is a clear stance to this and a very colourful feel to it, the picture on the box makes it clear what it is and shows how it is meant to work, like with the sandwich thins and also the colour scheme is based on the box its using so like the yellow and grey are reflected on the packaging. There text is not as small as other brands would show for this type of thing which makes it a niche.

The front of the box

The back of the box

One side of the box

The bottom of the box

The other side of the box

The bottom of the box

So then it gets to be the inside of the box and actually it was quite small contents, like it has both sides of the crimpit and also the 2 cards with the QR codes on how to use the device and also use it for various sweet and savoury flavours. It ends up 2 plastic ABS moulds which is used to crimp it together.

So that was out of the way and then it was time to finally get this to be made and test it out.

The Testing:

So this can be used in various cooking from Microwave, Toasters, and even gets to be used in air Fryers too. but for this test was  2 crimpits and then use the toaster to see how they go.

One key ingredient is needed is sandwich thins which is the bread needed for this to work. So many places do sell this and some cost more than others, but is is not hard to locate.

The bread needed for this to work

Then it will be the time to add the flavours in. for this review we went for the below ingredients.

  • Ham trimmings
  • Chicken slices
  • Garlic Alloli,
  • Chocolate Orange cookie
  • Cinnamon Squares
  • Biscoff Crunchy Spread

So it was to get that lot combined to 2 sandwiches, which was a easier said than done, since the steps are.

  1. Put the bottom of the thins above the bottom panel for the layout,
  2. Fill the sandwich thing to then get it working as in terms its make the sandwich
  3. Squash the top panel to the sandwich thin which then put the flavour together.
  4. Release and tear down the edges
  5. Put it in the toaster or air fryer
  6. Once thats done, and cooked, ready to eat

So that ends up being the case and how this goes.

Then it shows how it then compressed and ready to go into the toaster.

Another look for it

The toaster heating it up

The Testing:

So this was shortly done and the crimpits popped out, so then it was a bit of a push to grab it out since it was semi stuck there, especially how small it is. But then it came out and looked nice and toasted and a bit of a short cooldown before it was ready to be eaten.

The top of the crimpits

a better look at the toasted sandwich thins as crimpits

One of the sides is not as burned

Then it was nice to see how it crimped out, but the issue with one of them is the Cinnamon squares was not as squashed down compared to the chocolate orange cookie. The taste was very good for both of them to be fair.

Then it goes to finally give the conclusion on how this looks and was worth cooking in the toaster.

omracer's rating: 8/10

The Good Parts:

  • Good value with 2 x of them purchased
  • very easy to use and very clear instructions
  • vibrant packaging
  • Will be easily to  make crimpits
  • varied uses to cook it
  • Delivery was quite quick even with strikes back in November/ December.

The Bad Points

  • The crimpit mould us quite be small
  • Hard to fine locally
  • Small depth to crimpit

So this is one  review done out of  few, but some minimum ones are to come.  Next would be a power bank for laptops.
