Pokka Aloe Vera Grape Juice

Well, with a Approved Food Haul being in place, things were looking nice, since Aloe vera juice I always had to keep up to keep me going, maybe even lose some lbs but never the less, it was a nice drink that appeared in the order. Some Pokka Aloe Vera Grape Juice. The cost of it was £0.33 a can so the price might be worth it, or will it be...
The video is below:

The approved Food Haul

The Can

Well the Can was designed in White, green and purple. It was plain but also it was colourful in the logo. But hey, things go nicely. The can was a 300ml one, which is a bit less than what most cans contain for that size. There was a hint of purple for the grape and also light faded green for that. There is also a stick for the British health info and the ingredients as well.

The Tasting.

It was actually a normal still can of aloe Vera juice, the colour was the same as the ones from Holland and Barrett, more pulp than the Poundland ones and well it was familiar in the few ways. I poured it into a bailey's glass to show off the effect of it.

The drink

When i gulped it down, it didn't taste any difference to aloe Vera juice at all, no strong taste of grape, maybe a low key taste to it. But it felt like Aloe Vera juice in a can, well it was that pretty much.

The Conclusion:

All in all, it was a standard feel to this can of aloe vera.

omracer's Rating: 6/10

The Good Points:

  • Aloe Vera Juice in a can.
  • VERY good value for money from Approved Food.
  • Easier to have a chilled refreshing drink.

The Bad Points:

  • Can be hard to find in shops.
  • The taste of grape is not there.
  • The normal price would not be worth it for this can.

Well that was it for this review, there will be more from the Approved Food  Haul to review soon.

Holland and Barrett Maximum Strength Aloe Vera Juice

This is the Review which is to help me prep for an event soon, this month. Which I might need to be more toned or have a major detox and since Aloe Vera Juice is a favourite drink of mine, it was time to taste some strong version of it. This does exactly that for £6.64 each (half price) from Holland and Barrett and you can see why below:

The Bottle,

This is a thick bottle to show of the 946ml of juice inside, in a white design, it seals the contents quite nicely and the sticker has a lot of small print but its clear enough to read without needing to lean in or some cases, wear glasses. The front of the bottle is quite clear and "MAXIMUM STRENGTH" is a good sign this will perform they way you want it t. Its heavy when lifting it as well so that doesn't make it a false product either.

A look at the juice and a taste test

So with this, I opened the seal and poured some into a glass and it looks like lime cordial in a slight way and it was interesting there was no pellets of aloe vera in this, But it was also like the colour of the packaging on the bottle, I think thati s a clever idea.

a look at the juice and it looks clear

when you look from the side, you see a slight lime cordial looking drink

Then it was the tasting, which to be fair is MUCH different than i would EXPECT it to be. Now it has a slightly Bitter taste to it, like lemon juice, you can feel it appearing in the throat after a short time but its not really strong but not invisible either, Its not an addictive drink and shortly after 2 glasses of it to drink for the review, I needed the toilet, which means it might actually do its job.

A drink of this

The Conclusion:

All in all, this drink is not meant to be a everyday drink, but as mentioned on the packaging, a supplement to detox yourself with so it doesn't taste good enough to be a only drink it unless you really want to empty yourself (actually me), with this in mind:

omracer's Rating: 6/10

The Good Points:

  • The bottle is full of the juice
  • it can help detox or empty the stomach
  • The advice is quite clear to read
  • i went toilet shortly afterwards

The Bad Points:

  • its quite expensive EVEN at HALF PRICE
  • The taste can be a bit bitter
  • I went toilet shortly afterwards

And there we have it , a review done at the start of April, I have more reviews coming soon as well.

Aloe Vera Juice Original

So, this review was a quick plan, with drinking this a few weeks ago with Pete, i decided to get a bottled reviewed to show you guys and ladies the taste and well, this was £1 from Poundland. But thee one me and pete drank was the half size bottle which was 2 for £.
The review in video which i show and drink the stuff is below:

The bottle

the bottle is in a nice clear style 1L with green and white styles, with the front and back the same and the left with ingredients and nutrition and the other with barcodes and product info like who made it and social media links.
This was the setup for the video

Serving the drink

The drink is quite a light grape colour, with some gel inside, i'm interested about that but it has that smell of Washing powder as well as the typical aloe vera smell. But it was clear to see the pellets as well.

Looking from the top inside

What the pellets look like on my hand

When i tasted it, it was nice, sure there is that unique taste but its a good refreshing drink. With that in mind...

omracer's Rating: 6/10

The Good Points:

  • its refreshing
  • its slightly cheaper than Robinson's juices RRP
  • the taste is different to what you would expect

The Bad points:

  • I have to travel to plymouth to buy it
  • The gel/pellts might annoy some of us
  • Drinking too much will make a shit needed
Well that is that and enjoy more reviews later this year
